Place of the Workshop
The workshop "The Lived Byzantine Liturgy between Local Context and Standardized Tradition"
will take place at the Dean's office in the Main building of the University of Vienna and will not be open to the public but during the 2 keynote speeches. Invited Speakers will get access to the W-LAN of the University on spot.

Refunding of travel expenses
If you need refunding of your travel expenses please use the enclosed form (click into the green header). In case you want to be refunded in cash please tell us in time (2 weeks ahead) so that we can prepare.
Scanned invoices and tickets are ok (via email).
Public Transport
From the Airport to the Hotel:
REX 7 (regional express) in direction Wien Floridsdorf 5 Stations until Wien Praterstern, there change to tram Nr. 5 in direction Wien Westbahnhof 10 stations until Wien Spitalgasse. From there you have left 343 meters to the hotel. (see Map below)
Tickets for this train and the tram can be bought at RED ticket machines at the airport and downstairs at the Railway staton (Attention: the GREEN one are vor a special train CAT, don't use that, as it does not bring you to were you need to go).
The airport is one zone outside of Vienna, the ticket to Vienna includes the outside zone (8,40 €)and can be used for the tram until the hotel too.
For the following days you may use 72 Hours tickets which gives you the possiblity to move freely (within in the core zone) starting from validation which can be done in the tram itself or for Metro in undergroundstations when entering). Once validated you dont need to do it again.Tickets for Vienna public transport can be bought at ticket machines of Wiener Linien at main stations (e.g. at Schottentor - near University).
There are single tickets too available at ticket machines in all main tram stations and within the trams. Please keep all your tickets for transport (Flight, train, public transport in Vienna) and invoices for us, so that we may refund you after your trip.Without invoices we are not able to refund them!
Persons aged 65 or over may buy the single tickets for one or two journeys at a reduced rate for senior citizens.
From the Hotel to the University:
take tram 37 or 41 from Sensengasse in direction Wien Schottentor (2 stations). If you come up, you will see the main University building already which you enter by the main entrance.Inside you take the stairs on the right side and enter the Arcade courtyard. There you see staircase 8, which you go up until the top (2nd floor). You will find the door of the dean's office of the faculty of catholic Theology at your left side.
